KING HANDLES TRAINING SYSTEM

With 8 weeks of workouts and video tutorials, Joey "King Handles" Haywood reveals to you how to become an elite ball handler, inside of the King Handles Training System. All of our videos are sorted into easy to follow step-by-step workout plans that are designed to help you transform your handles.

Each drill inside KHTS has a certain goal or objective for you to achieve. This keeps you in a competitive mind state, and forces you to value every single rep. We work on developing your skills so that they transfer into real game situations. This will allow you to actually dominate in real games, and not just in practice. Additionally, every drill is designed so that you don’t have to rely on a rebounder, and that you can do them 100% on your own.

Inside of the King Handles Training System, you will complete 4 training sessions per week, each lasting between 45-90 minutes in length. Instead of spending long hours practicing, we put emphasis on intensity and efficiency. Each training session has a particular focus that will help you get the most out of each workout.

In total, there are 8 weeks of workouts in the King Handles Training System. This workout plan follows a progressive structure, where every new week builds on top of the last, works on new skills, and demands more out of you. This structure allows you to break through plateaus and see consistent improvements.

COACH JOEY HAYWOOD

Joey "King Handles" Haywood is known as Canada's best street baller, and is an international street ball legend. However, Joey's basketball career goes much further beyond street ball. He is also a former CIS point guard, and professional basketball player of 7 years. In 2014, he was drafted by Kevin Durant to play on KD's team in Nike's Summer is Serious tournament.

Additionally, Joey has trained at countless basketball camps and events around the world, helping thousands of players take their game to the next level. Coach Haywood has played at the highest levels of basketball, and knows exactly what it takes to get there.

POUND DRIBBLE SERIES

Throughout this series of drills, we build the foundation by developing coordination, speed, and rhythm with the basketball.

PUSH DRIBBLE SERIES

In this series, we expand your foundation by moving into more dynamic drills. This focuses on being able to extend the ball so you can blow by defenders.

ATTACKING THE RIM SERIES

In this series, we continue to progress by working on your ability to attack and score at the basket. This is where we start focusing on real game situations.

LATERAL MOVEMENT SERIES

Working on dynamic lateral movements while handling the ball and attacking the hoop. These advanced drills will help you freeze the defense and attack in any direction.

SPIN MOVE SERIES

The spin move is a highly effective move when executed properly. Here we break down how you can implement this deadly move into your game.

FULL COURT SERIES

You need to be able to handle pressure while dribbling up the court. Whether you're a point guard or you get the ball on fast break, this series will make you unstoppable in the full court.

PROTECTION SERIES

Turnovers suck, so being able to defend the ball is key. In this series you will learn how to handle and beat the most aggressive defenders.

DYNAMIC WARMUP SERIES

This pre-workout series is to prime your body so it is ready to get the full benefits of each and every workout.

All you need is a basketball and a court! We use cones in many of our drills, but they are not mandatory.
